AI won't replace creativity any time soon, but I fear it'll supercharge content farms and further bury independent writing with oceans of perfectly SEO-optimized content.

I think this is a really good point.

It would then seem that the only thing left for writers to hold onto would be actual relationships with readers.

What bothers me more than this particular A.I.'s skill is that this is just the tip of the iceberg. And when I say tip, I mean "Trump, party of twenty" levels of exiguous residue, not the everything-but-the-balls tip of your high school boyfriend. In other words, this is going to get real weird, real fast.
